Tasty little game. I find the little variety in enemies and rooms in the first few screens off-putting. I think this game would benefit from a bullet hell feel to it.

I like the art, but I think the main character model needs improvement. It feels a bit out of proportion. I also don't understand how the weapons are different from each other, perhaps a guide for how is weapon better/worst when selecting it might be good. Finally, delivering the letter seems tedious as the only reward is changing my weapon, perhaps make the reward for delivering the letter something more enticing like an upgrade or a new character or something that directly affects the game loop.
Solid game. Would like more crafting options. Perhaps didn't play enough but only the open seas and enemies get a bit stale, perhaps add locations like islands for people to visit?
Something I don't find very appealing is that the slide control has a dead zone, where no inputs are registered. Usually this is one of the four diagonal positions. From the game's nature, I think this will really benefit from point and click movement. That is let the player select where to go and the character then goes there.
Pretty fun game. The art style is also commendable, and controls feel responsive. I would like a bit more feedback when hitting an enemy, but I am not super clear on the gameplay effect so I don't want to provide any examples. I like the new take on snake with a bit of roguelike. Good luck with getting the game out!
Thanks for your feedback! Glad you enjoy it. I plan to do a update dedicated to spicing up the graphics and game feel effects for sure.
Great little game, there is much more to it than meets the eye.
I like that enemies actually react to you.
Thanks! I also like that the enemies react to the player.
Try giving some variety to the movement animation of the player character.
Fun little platformer, nice twist with the teleport. I actually liked that you did not include jump controls.
Not a bad game, I like the mechanic of depleting ammo. I think you should reward the player for chaining kills, and you can reward the player not only with points but also with ammo.
Consider the control scheme for a cellphone.
I wasnt planning on it but thats an idea. Could try something like on-screen screen controls.
