[Lemon Demon's "Bad Idea"]

A Good Idea

"Lemon Demon's "Bad Idea"" by TmsT is a music flash video based on the music of Lemon Demon's "Bad Idea". It presents us the story of a regular guy as he stumbles in a zombie infested town. He loses his car and finds himself stranded having to fight the zombie, that are trying to eat him, and looking for a way out of the zombie infected apocalypse.

The flash is of very good quality and well synchronized to the song lyrics. The author obviuosly took a lot of effort into making it. Shadow effects are well made which I would like to note on. All the characters are well animated and the overall flash quality is kept high through all the movie.

An outstanding music video which would be a good idea to watch.

Good story and well animated.

I must say a very good job was done with this animation. A simple and funny story that is easy to understand and that most people will laugh for. The characters are made as simple stick figures with some clothing so that we can diferenciate genders and such. On the characters they are well though even for such a short flash. I always recomend adding a navigation menu to flash movies but this one doesn't need one. On the sound department we have a very good voice over accompanied by a well done lip sinc.

As a bottom line, you should give this movie a shot and I hope we see more from the author soon.

Nothing much is just too much.

I liked it. Naturaly I don't really like this kind of music things but this one is sepcial you truly deserve the score.

[Thwomps: The Movie]

If there is a maximun to sprites, this is it.

Presentation: From the begginig engaging. I felt the story and lived every characters pain, I was there when Mario was hit, when thwomp king (thwomp1?) took Bowser castle, I resisted Bowser's flame along thwomp2(?). I felt the pain of that koopa when hammered by Mario, and thrilled with Luigi's decision to hear the goomba. Astonishing, surprising, intrigating, funny. The best Srpite movie I have ever seen, heard of, talked about, and now writing about. 9/10

Interface: Well. I would like a scene selection menu and a trailer navigation bar. I feel them to be specially important when movies are this long. So, I was wondering why not a navigation bar? I had to restart the movie 3 times due to this problem. 4/10

Sound: Great sound effects. I liked the original Super Mario World Sound effects. and the 'beat them' sounds. But there were some issues with voice acting, there was the problem that the voice acting was like "cut" you know were't state of the art. 7/10

Music: One of the best selections of music ever, Mario, Pokémon, overall NINTENDO. Great selection of artists, and music. 8/10

Graphics: when you say sprites, you normally don't wait for some good animations, but you really do kno how to make sprites come good. Great graphics of the mop adn 'squish them' effects. 8/10

Art: Then I saw the greatest effects ever I was amazed for the almost 3D effects in the mop scene and the destruction of castles was great. Also I must congratulate you for the spine battles attack. 9/10

Overall (out of 10): 7/10

Clossing comments: I really do would like a navigation bar, and fix the issues with sound.

[MK vs. SF]

Good fight.

I found the fighting scenes great!

Presentation: You had some good menu background and overall design, 8/10

Interface: NOt so good as an interface. I would like full control of the movie. 5/10

Sound: Good sound effects and classic voices. 6/10

Music: Well it was a so-s selection but it was ok for the flash. 6/10

Graphics: Sprites mixed with good animations. This is how it should be done. 8/10

Art: Great effects, but you missed a lot in shadows. I think that the main cause is that the sprites are different for almost every character. 5/10

Overall (out of 10): 6/10

Clossing comments: Yes, well, actually going to check the others.

[Battle for the Portal Pt4]

Not so violent...

Presentation: Well was too dark and almost ununderstandable. 7/10

Interface: I wanto to pause the vid. but I can't so I must rewind if I want to see a part that I lost. 4/10

Sound: Thos bullets/explosion effects and the "Surprise!" music mix well. 8/10

Music: Actually I liked it more than the selection of the others. 8/10

Graphics: 3D. 9.5/10

Art: Great art effect. The bullet path and light openning where great. 9/10

Overall (out of 10): 7/10

Clossing comments: the other were bassically better.

Poor clay people...

Presentation: As good as good can be... but far from perfect. 8/10

Interface: Still no interface... 4/10

Sound: Those bullets and explosions clashing with the music and the non-sense voice acting. Great. 8/10

Music: Great selection. Tha Spanish Flea with Back to Mad, that was a great mix of effects and music. 8/10

Graphics: If you see 3-D you don't actually say anithing, do you? 9.5/10

Art: Less explosions and bullets than in teh last two and two much talking make effects almost unseenable. 5/10

Overall (out of 10): 7/10

Clossing comments: The quality of this one was less than the one of the other two.

[Battle for the Portal Pt2]

3 - D Magic!

I am sorry that you had to compress the file.

Presentation: It was good from the beginning, but a little dark. 8/10

Interface: No actual interface, I couldn't stop the movie! It was annoying as I had things to do which required me to stop the movie but I could'nt, that's bad. 4/10

Sound: great sound effects mixed with fantastic bullet strikes. 9/10

Music: A good selection of music. I would like it that you have added more than just Matrix, and Matrix mix. 7/10

Graphics: 3-D, nuff' said. 9.5/10

Art: I know that you had issues with the file size so I tried not to take to much points from there. 7/10

Overall (out of 10): 8/10

Clossing comments: It should have been a 7 but you do deserve the 8.

[Metroid Sex Education]

I liked the point.

Presentation: A good plot on the evolution of a metroid I can totally imagine a group of metroid seeing that movie. 7/10

Interface: No way to stop or to go on... 3/10

Sound: Good voice and blast effects. Keep up this kind of work. 7/10

Music: I liked the old-movie kind of iteration. Interesting and very adequate but you should have added some "hapy-moments" music. 7/10

Graphics: A cool ay of animating, but you should have worked more on Samus. 6/10

Art: well there wre some good and appropiate old-movie effetcs. 7/10

Overall (out of 10): 5/10

Need to work on art!

I see that you have a lot of talent but you, you just seem like a slacker... get to work!

Presentation: From the begging you see some minor flaws but you see them. 7/10

Interface: No pause, no continue, to fast like to read text. 6/10

Sound: Well you had good sincro but no voice acting. 6/10

Music: Well actually you only had sync music. Add some author and original music. 6/10

Graphics: Sprites, it isn't really easy to get things well done with sprites, nd you didn't even make here walk... 4/10

Art: Well you had some good animations, great fighting scene. 8/10

hey thanks, i was just looking over my old submissions and i thought you got it down to a tee. Thanks for the honest review, i haven't made anything since but if i do ever make anything else, i'll take all this into consideration.
